Akamas

Avakas Gorge
Avakas Gorge is a natural attraction located in Cyprus, about 20 km from the city of Paphos. The gorge is more than a thousand years old, it was created by nature itself - it was formed by the river flowing here. Over time, it dried up and now is a small stream.
There are many shrubs and trees in the gorge, some of them are unique. It is especially beautiful here in the summer, when you can admire the flowering plants.
